Job Description

Position Summary:
The Education Manager will support the field execution process of Ouidad’ s education. This position will assist the Director of Sales and Regional Sales Manager. The individual in this role will serve as the liaison and communication hub for all educational activities. The Education Manager will ensure that all aspects of Ouidad education are effectively monitored and communicated to all channels and departments. This position reports directly to the Director of Certified Salon
Primary Responsibilities & Essential Job Function:
• Create, help Execute, and Monitor all US Educational Programs.
o Support the creation of all Education Programs and filter/teach down to our BA, AE, MAE on how to effectively deliver all education programs from information execution down to class set up for maximum results to meet and exceed sales goals.
o Assist Director of Sales & Certified Salon with creation of education materials and protocols (Creating, writing, editing, etc.)
o Create and assist with instructional tools: including How-to instructional shoots and videos to be used across multiple channels.
o Effectively facilitate in field Ouidad education, specifically, education at our National Sales Meeting, webinars, and new product launches for various constituents such as Regional Sales Manager, Field Education, BA, AE, MAE, brick and mortar sales associates, and Salons.
o Communicates educational progress and updates to Director of Sales and Regional Sales Manager to ensure the standard is being upheld, effective, and generating sales.
o Partner with OUIDAD channels as needed to create education tools


• Manages BA, AE, MAE processes from an internal perspective:
o Oversee roster, pay scale, and job descriptions.
o Assist BA, AE, and MAE’s with material and information requests
o Liaison between corporate and field
o Provide weekly communication updates pertaining to educational events and initiatives

• Coordinate education needs with all partnerships and deliver a monthly plan on execution to Director of Sales.
o Work with Distribution Education departments to assist and answer questions

• Partner with Marketing and Creative to customize education programs for North America:
o Present any updated or new programs at the National Sales Meeting in conjunction with the Director of Sales and Field Education.
o Partner with Marketing and Creative to effectively customize education programs and tools necessary for all distributor partnerships, direct salons, and retail stores.

• Coordinate Regional Certified Trainings
o Coordinate educators for all training
o Coordinate travel for flagship and local educators
o Book models as required for Regional and Field Managers
o Assist Distribution in creation of Regional model database

• Manage master education calendar
o Keep a live working snapshot of all certified trainings and major educational events
o Coordinate with RSM’s and Distributors on event requests and trainer requests
o Ensure seamless communication between corporate/field/distribution
o Communicate accurate class openings to ensure spots are booked

• Communicate and build strong, effective relationships:
o Builds strong relationships with our RSM’s to ensure they have first-hand insights on corporate updates, market trends, and timelines on field needs.
o Act as liaison between corporate and field team to effectively keep brand message strong and salon-focused.
• Administration:
o Manages administrative responsibilities related to job objectives in a timely manner.
o Manages allocated territory and regional education budget within agreed upon guidelines (monthly reports to Director of Salon Sales & Education).

Desired Skills and Experience

Qualifications:
• Must have 3 years related experience
• Must have strong leadership and management skills
• Ability to collaborate with other channels and groups in imperative
• Ability to travel domestically (25%)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential, requires strong presentation skills (written and oral).
• Excellent presentation skills including creating and delivering effective PowerPoint presentations and tailoring delivery based on size/type of audience (e.g. one-on-one meetings, large classrooms, retailer meetings, webinars)
• Proficient with managing multiple tasks and functions
• Event coordination experience
• Pursuing a career in hairstyling/color application (a plus)
