Desired Skills and Experience

Provides quality customer service with patience, professionalism, a smile, eye contact and being accommodating to all of our clients by performing the following duties:

2. Assists in answering the telephones and always provide the highest level of customer service in order to cut down the amount of time a client waits on hold.*

3. Captures complete and accurate client information by utilizing client information sheets, and be sure to properly add into the computer.*

4. Offers drinks and takes coats.*

5. Keeps an eye on the books to see what Zazu employees need appointments booked in order to ensure they have a productive day.*

6. Assures that client wait time is not excessive.*

7. Assures that only the person receiving service enters the work area.*

8. Takes accurate appointments and always reads the appointment back to the client prior to hanging up the phone, or prior to the client leaving the front desk.*

9. Rings up all transactions accurately.*

10. Offers products and makeup touch-ups continually.*

11. Offers pre-booking to the client all of the time.*

12. Explains any specials to clients.*

13. Follows proper procedures regarding employee services and sales.*

14. Follows closing procedures according to the closing sheet.*

15. Assists in maintaining front desk area to include disposing of garbage, cleaning and putting away dirty dishes, straightening magazines, and facing products.*

16. Assists in maintaining the refreshment area to include ensuring that coffee and ice are full, and making lemonade and iced tea as needed.*

17. Takes accurate messages and delivers them promptly.*

18. Prints out schedules for the next day and puts them in the technicians' respective bins.*

19. Reports all complaints to management.*

20. Wears designated attire and has hair styled and full face of makeup applied every day prior to shift start time.*

21. Uses proper English when responding verbally to clients always.*

22. Absolves from using foul or slang language, from having food or eating, or participating in personal conversations while at the front desk as they are prohibited.*

23. Maintains a professional attitude at all times and never speaks poorly and criticizes anyone.*

24. Adheres strictly to all salon policies and procedures.*

25. Responsible for working a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.*

Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Millennium booking software.
