Bryant of New York multicultural hair salon was birth out of the belief that there is no such thing as "bad" hair or "good" hair only different textures.  We know that beauty is not defined by a certain standard-beauty is defined by you. We specialize in multicultural hair and especially of all textures; being that our primary focus is the foundation of healthy hair, we would like to have our finalized goal to be a strong superior head of hair.

We are looking for a Salon Coordinator who will be the face of B.O.N.Y. and bring together the culture of the salon.

- Guest focused with excellent interpersonal, communication, listening and customer service skills

- Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including: days, nights, weekends, holidays and special events.
- Experience as an administrative assistant
- Knowledge of office management processes and procedures
- Expertise in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Proven time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Strong problem solving skills and research skills
- Advanced organizational skills, ability to multi-task and attention to detail
- Knowledge of operating standard office equipment

Responsibilities
- Welcome guests to the salon by offering refreshments and hanging coats
- Answering phones professionally and courteously to schedule appointments and handle guests’ questions and concerns
- Possess basic knowledge of all services and products to assist guests.
- Maintain a welcoming reception area by cleaning and restocking amenities as required.
- Actively promote salon programs and promotions.
- Provide accurate and timely responses to all guest requests ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls- Schedule appointments and maintain the salon manager's calendar
- Update and maintain salon policies and procedures
- Create and distribute emails, communications and letters
- Create and maintain reports, forms and spreadsheets
- Order office supplies and research new suppliers
- Assist in resolving any administrative problems
