Job Description:

We are currently looking for three (3) imaginative, energetic, stylists to provide our clients with top notch customer service and beautiful hair. Our stylists have a passion for hair and beauty and see their chosen profession as a career, not just a job. Whether you are new to the hair dressing world or have years of experience, looking for a new salon or just a fresh start, we want to hear from you!

Duties:

· Talk to clients about their requirements
· Cut hair using clippers, scissors or razors
· Provide services such as highlighting, conditioning, permanent waving/texturizing, straightening and tinting
· Hair styling and thermal waving
· Trim beards and mustaches
· Advise clients on hair care block, etc.
· Must have Pennsylvania cosmetology license.

Additional Duties as Necessary:

· Operate a cash register and computer
· Perform reception duties such as answering telephone calls and making appointments
· Sell retail products
· Write up client record cards
· Clean the salon, work areas and equipment.
Additional Salon Requirements:

· All Shear Trendz stylists are required to attend at least three (3) hairdressing seminars and/or trainings per year in order to keep up to date with new products and techniques
· Must be able to work weekends
· Stand for long periods of time
· Maintain professionalism cleanliness of station
· Participate in outside Salon client recruiting/marketing activities when scheduled

This is a full or part time position. Commission only.
